Project Introduction

This is a semi-open desk set. It consists of one supervisor and two staff positions. This designed to provide a practical and comfortable office furniture solution for the office space and applicable to all kinds of enterprise office, studio and other office environment, it can meet the office needs of different positions and improve the utilization rate of office space and the overall aesthetics.

Development difficult points

1) Spatial layout optimization: The position of supervisor and employee should be arranged reasonably within the limited space, it needs to ensure that each station has enough working space, not only to make the integrated layout compact and uncrowded, but also to take into consideration the movement of personnel and placement ofequipment, this requires to be adjusted and optimized several times in the design.

2) Material selection and matching: The material of office furniture not only affects its appearance and texture, but also relates to durability and environmental protection. In the selection of wood, metal, plate and other materials, it needs to consider the cost, quality, processing difficulty and whether to meet environmental standards and other factors, it’s not easy to find the right combination of materials.

3) Ergonomic considerations: In order to keep users comfortable during long office hours, ergonomic principles need to be integrated into the design of the desk, such as desktop height, width and depth, it also needs to be repeatedly tested and adjusted to adapt to people of different heights and body types.

Solution measures

3) User research and testing: Invite office workers from different industries and different sizes to participate in trial and feedback, and collect their opinions and suggestions on the comfort and convenience of tables and chairs. Draft Design

1) Plant layouts: Shown in detail the position relationship between the supervisor position and the two employee positions in the office space, including the size of each station, the width of the channel and the distance from the surrounding environment (such as walls, doors and Windows, etc.), which helps the construction personnel to accurately install and place.

2) 3D renderings: The appearance, color matching and material texture of the desk are presented from different angles, so that customers can intuitively see the final effect of the product, which is convenient for space planning and style matching in advance.

3) Parts drawing: the various parts of the desk, such as desk legs, desktops, partitions, drawers, etc. are drawn in detail, marking the size, material, connection mode and other information, to provide accurate technical guidance for production and processing.

The overall style of the finished product is simple and modern. The material of desktop is light wood color environment-friendly board, natural and delicate texture, creating a warm and comfortable feeling. 

The supervisor position is independent, equipped with a large desktop space and drawers, convenient storage of documents and office supplies; The staff position is compact and practical.
